The Sun was shinning, whil eit was warm it did not hold back the crowds that waited up to 3 hours to see the America Comeback Team. There were rousingg speeches by NH's Federal delegation, Cong. Guinta, Cong. Bass and of course NH newest "Rock Star in Politica" Sen. Kelly Ayotte. The crowd was pretty warmed up (more ways than one) by the time Gov Romney and Cong. Ryan took the cener stage. Ryan wnet first and brough the huge crowd to its feet many time during his speech. Gov. Romney in his customary calm style delivered a rousing speed that also brough the crowd to its feet many times. He ended by taking questions from the floor and there was a light moment when a fellow wearing a Yankee tee asked a question... In all a great way to go into the convention next week.
It was certainly a busy weekend for our committee as we welcomed Gov. Pawlenty and Tagg Romney to or great state. Thank you Chris Wolfe for the back yard event that gave an oppertunity to the citizens to meet the Governor and his lovely wife Mary. Also a big round of applause go out to Jakie Eastwood and her husband for a wonder meet and greet at their home in Durham. And last but not least, Thank you to Beverly Bruce for her efforts to make this event possible.
